Chlorine Batch Mixing Calculator

This calculator is used to determine the ratio of SH to water when batch mixing based on your desired output strength.

  1. Use the first slider to set your desired output strength.
  2. Use the second slider to set the starting strength of your chlorine (typically 12.5%).
  3. Type in the size of your tank, click enter, and let the calculator do its magic.

Note - This calculator is measured in "Units" as the formula works for either gallons or litres. 

Always add the water to your tank first, then add the chlorine until there is a small amount of room in the top of the tank for your soaps and chemicals. 

*Adding water first then chlorine will reduce the chance of chlorine splashing onto your skin.

*Adding soaps last will reduce the chances of them bubbling over the tank.
