Brining Pumps (De-Icing / Anti-Icing Systems)

What They Are

Brining pumps are chemical-compatible pumps designed to:

• Transfer salt brine from storage tanks to spray trucks

• Circulate brine in tank systems

• Pump brine solution through spray bars, boom systems, or wand assemblies

Common Pump Types

1. 12V Remco or Delavan Diaphragm Pumps

• Voltage: 12V DC (ideal for truck/trailer mounting)

• Flow: 5–7 GPM

• Pressure: 60–100 PSI

   

  Features include being bypassed to keep the brine circulating and extend the life of the pump, chemical resistant seals (Viton or EPDM), run dry capability, easily integrated with spray guns, spray bars and hose reels as well as toggle switch or relay compatibility.
