Shipping policy
Residential Deliveries - Signature Not Required Policy:
For all orders placed with us, that will be delivered to a "Residential" location we "DO NOT" require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure to use the tracking information that we will provide you to keep up with delivery notifications and plan to have someone accept the package. We are not responsible for theft. If you notice any damages you must report them to us within 48 hours and provide us with photos of the contents and also the box it arrived in. Send email to shipping@bigshotsupplies.ca
If you require a signature for your delivery simply give us a call or email prior to the shipment going out and we can make that change for you. However, this needs to be done prior to us scheduling the shipment which can sometimes happen very soon after the order is placed. After hours be sure to email us and during business hours please call us ahead of placing an online order. If your shipment leaves without the signature feature in place we are not responsible for any reason even if you called or emailed us ahead of time.
Commercial Deliveries - Signature Required Policy:
For all orders placed with us, that will be delivered to a commercial location we require a signature upon delivery. This policy ensures that the package is delivered to the right person and helps prevent theft or loss of the package. If you are unable to be present at the time of delivery, you may leave a signed note for the carrier, authorizing them to leave the package at a secure location. They will take a picture of the note left as a form of proof.
If you are not at the shipping address location when delivery occurs the package(s) will be rerouted to a pickup depot. You will have 5 days to pick up or contact them to make arrangements or else the parcel(s) will be returned. We will not be responsible for additional fees for returned packages. Once package is returned we may charge you for additional shipping costs or if you prefer a refund then shipping charges/payment processing fees will be taken out of the refund at our discretion.
LTL Freight Policy:
For larger and heavier items, we use LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight shipping to ensure safe delivery. Our LTL freight policy is as follows:
- Delivery Appointment: Our carrier will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment. Please make sure that you are available at the scheduled time. - Delivery Inspection: When the shipment arrives, please inspect it thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt. If there is any damage to the package or its contents, please note it on the delivery receipt before signing. This will help us file a claim with the carrier and ensure that you receive a replacement or refund.
- Power Tail Gate Service: If your delivery location does not have a loading dock or forklift, we can arrange for liftgate (PTG) service. This service will lower the shipment to the ground, making it easier for you to unload.
- Notification: Our carrier will supply a tracking number for your shipment when it is on its way, and you can track it using the tracking number provided. If you have any questions about your shipment, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Shipping is calculated at checkout by our carrier at our best rates available. Our shipping team strives to pick, pack, and ship your orders in a timely manner so that you get the products you need, when you need them.
