These are typically use with small diameter hose for use with water, fuel, chemicals or other fluids at pressures up to 150PSI. The soft brass body and short barbs do not permit for high operating temperatures or working pressures.
The 5/8" Barb x 1/2" Female NPT option is very ideal for connecting your "Long Range Turbine Nozzle" to your 5/8" soft wash hose.
